What do you think of the new look for my blog?
I was never truly happy with the old theme and style and found making any changes next to impossible.
So,whilst I was making the site easier for me to play with technically,I thought I would make it new aesthetically.
Some final touches are still to be made,but generally I am rather pleased with the outcome.
Now I can get back to actually blogging!

looks good. although why are the 2 images at the top on the sides ghosted back?

Thanks for visiting Second Helping. Glad you think it looks good. The “ghosting”as you call it is an effect that I saw and liked. It may stay,it may go. Not sure yet. I was also considering several different layers of opacity as it edges out to the sides.
Its probably best called a work in progress! Feedback is always appreciated.

i like it now without the ghosting. it seems more consistent to me. when it’s ghosted it just didn’t seem right to me,as if the image is not loading properly.
