Prawn wontons

 

Ingredients

300 grams small prawns/fresh shrimp

2 spring onions

2 tsp grated fresh ginger

1 red chilli

wonton wrappers

Method

Shell prawns and chop into little pieces.Then finely chop the spring onions and chilli.

Mix all ingredients together.

Spoon a small amount of mixture into the centre of the of the wonton wrapper.

Bunch the wrapper up evenly on all sides so that it resembles a little bag.You could tie them with a garlic chive if you wanted to.

Steam for 7(ish) minutes in a bamboo steamer lined with lettuce so that the wonton wrapper doesn’t stick.

Serve with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, sweet chilli and a dash of lime juice.

This will make about 30 wontons.They can be frozen.
