Steamed pork dumplings

Ingredients

300 grams pork mince

1 cup finely chopped chinese cabbage

½ cup hoisin sauce

Square wonton wrappers

Method

In a bowl mix all the ingredients until well combined.

Spoon a small amount of the mixture into the middle of a wonton wrapper.

Fold the square in half so that you get a triangle and using lukewarm water, stick the two sides together.

Sit the wonton down so that the point of the triangle is point up.Then starting in the middle and working out to the end crimp the edge to make it look pretty.

Steam for 7 – 10 minutes in a steamer lined with a lettuce leaf to stop them sticking.

Serve with soy sauce

This will make about 30 dumplings.They can be frozen uncooked.
